Syrian Americans are present across the United States, with some states having a higher concentration than others. California has the highest number of Syrian Americans, with 30,393 individuals, comprising 0.078% of California's total population. New Jersey and Pennsylvania follow with 13,132 and 15,716 Syrian Americans, respectively, making up 0.142% and 0.122% of each state's populations.

States with smaller populations also have a notable Syrian American presence, such as Rhode Island, where 1,870 individuals identify as Syrian, comprising 0.171% of the state's total population. Similarly, District of Columbia has a Syrian American population of 516 individuals, accounting for 0.076% of the city's population. Despite being a less populous state, North Dakota has a Syrian American population of 568, representing 0.073% of the state's population.
