Chick-fil-A also has unique french fries. Their waffle fries are synonymous with the Chick-fil-A brand, and there are people who will drive a long way just to give them a try. Finally, lots of people like the unique sauces that Chick-fil-A serves with their chicken dishes.
Chick-fil-A is a fast food restaurant staple found in the Southeast. Texas has the most Chick-fil-A locations, with 460 in the state, States such as Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina have a tremendous number of Chick-fil-A restaurants scattered all over the area. Chick-fil-A has also expanded out west, with 167 locations in California. Chick-fil-A is also gradually becoming more popular in the Midwest, in states such as Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana. Because Chick-fil-A has become such a famous fast-food restaurant chain, just about every state in the country has a few Chick-fil-A restaurants.
By this time, Chick-fil-A has made its way into just about every state in the country. There are only three states in the United States that do not have a single Chick-fil-A restaurant. They include Alaska, Hawaii, and Vermont. In addition, Chick-fil-A is found in Washington D.C. There are a number of reasons why Alaska, Hawaii, and Vermont did not yet have a Chick-fil-A. Two of the states are not in the contiguous 48, which is why it has been harder for Chick-fil-A to expand to these locations. It remains to be seen whether Chick-fil-A will expand to these last three states at some point in the future.
As a fast-food restaurant chain, Chick-fil-A has a number of significant competitors. For example, McDonald's and Burger King are two of the biggest competitors of Chick-fil-A. Even though Chick-fil-A has a slightly higher price point, Chick-fil-A makes chicken sandwiches, just like McDonald's and Burger King do. Furthermore, Chick-fil-A competes with some of the fast-casual restaurant chains, such as Panera Bread and Chipotle. Even though Chick-fil-A is largely a southeastern regional fast food chain, it has expanded into most parts of the country. Therefore, it comes up against some other regional fast food favorites, such as In-N-Out Burger and Whataburger.
