Belgian Americans are most heavily concentrated in the Midwest region of the United States. Wisconsin has the highest number of Belgian Americans with 45,519 individuals, comprising 0.77% of the state's population. Michigan follows closely behind with 42,865 individuals, making up 0.43% of the state's population. Other Midwestern states with sizable Belgian American populations include Minnesota (14,494), Iowa (7,604), and Illinois (25,280).

Outside of the Midwest, states with notable Belgian American communities include Wyoming (1,365), Montana (2,319), and Oregon (5,688). However, these populations represent a smaller percentage of their respective state's overall population, with each state having less than 0.25% of its population identifying as Belgian American. Across the United States, Belgian Americans make up less than 1% of the population in every state.
